Frequently asked questions

FAQ

People Information, LLC operates Book Aero Fare as an independent travel agency. These answers match how we actually book and ticket — we are not an airline. Last updated September 28, 2026.

Short answers below. Policies in full: Service fees, Fulfillment, Advertiser disclosure, State licensing. We do not sell travel to residents of California, Florida, Washington, Hawaii, or Iowa.

Who we are

Who operates Book Aero Fare?

Book Aero Fare (bookaerofare.com) is owned and operated by People Information, LLC, an independent travel agency at 2101 W San Juan Ave Suite 2, Phoenix, AZ 85015, USA. We search published fares and ticket confirmed itineraries as a travel intermediary. We are not an airline and not an airline website.

Are you an airline or an official airline website?

No. We are an independent travel agency. We do not operate flights, issue airline boarding passes at the airport, or staff an airline reservations desk. Airline names on this website identify a flight you may search or ticket — they do not mean we are that airline.

What is your relationship with airlines?

We search and ticket published fares on many airlines, including major U.S. and international carriers such as Delta, United, and Lufthansa, as an independent travel intermediary on our GDS. We are not those airlines, not their websites, and not an official reservations line. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a representative of any carrier. We do not redeem miles, points, or loyalty benefits; those stay in the traveler’s own frequent-flyer account.

Do you redeem miles, points, or companion certificates?

No. Miles, points, and loyalty benefits stay in the traveler’s own frequent-flyer account. We quote cash fares and paid upgrades only. We cannot apply your miles to a booking on this website.

When are you open?

Phone support is 24/7 at +1 (800) 903-1468, Arizona time (MST — Arizona does not observe daylight saving).

How do I contact you?

Call +1 (800) 903-1468, email support@bookaerofare.com, or use the contact form on our Contact page. Have your Book Aero Fare reference ready if you already booked.

Searching and booking

How do I book a flight?

Search a route and dates on our site, review the full price breakdown, enter passenger details, and submit a booking request. Your card is stored securely. A travel agent tickets the itinerary through our GDS. You are charged when the e-ticket is issued — not at the moment you click submit.

Are search prices a held or guaranteed fare?

No. Results are published fares at the moment of search. Inventory and price can change until an agent issues the ticket. If the fare is no longer available, we contact you before charging a different amount. You may decline and you are not charged.

What flights can I search?

The platform shows live published fares for the origin, destination, dates, and cabin you enter. Availability depends on the route and inventory. If a fare does not appear, call us — agents can check additional options.

How quickly do I receive my e-ticket?

A travel agent tickets your itinerary through our GDS. You receive the airline booking reference (PNR) and e-ticket by email after the ticket is issued — often within a few hours, and no later than 24 hours. Status on My Trips shows ticketing in progress until then.

What is the difference between a Book Aero Fare reference and an airline PNR?

We email a Book Aero Fare reference (for example BAFX1234) when you submit the request. That is our agency file number. The airline PNR is created when the e-ticket is issued and is emailed at that time. My Trips lookup uses our agency reference plus the booking email — not the airline PNR.

Can I select my seat when booking?

Seat selection depends on the airline and fare. Where the booking flow offers it, you can choose a seat then. For phone bookings, agents can note a preference. A preferred seat is not guaranteed until the airline confirms it.

Do you book multi-city, group, or last-minute trips?

Many simple one-way and round-trip trips can be searched online. Complex itineraries, groups, and some last-minute trips are often easier by phone. Call us and an agent will check what can actually be ticketed.

Is this an instant airline checkout?

No. This is an agency booking. The public site shows published fares. An agent issues the ticket. That is why you see “ticketing in progress” and why the airline PNR arrives after issuance.

Fees and payment

What is the $25 agency service fee?

Every new online booking includes a flat $25 agency service fee. It is shown in the price breakdown before you confirm. It is separate from airline fare and taxes. It is charged when the ticket is issued and is non-refundable once an e-ticket is issued, except where law requires otherwise.

When is my card charged?

We collect card details securely when you submit the request. You are charged when the travel agent issues the e-ticket. If we cannot issue the ticket, you are not charged.

What is included in the quoted total?

The quoted total is base airfare + taxes and carrier-imposed surcharges + our $25 online agency fee (and any extras you add). Nothing is added later as a surprise checkout line. Phone help to change, cancel, or upgrade is a separate $25–$50 assistance fee, quoted on the call.

What do phone changes, cancellations, and upgrades cost?

Agency assistance is $25–$50 depending on complexity, plus any airline change, cancel, or upgrade charge and any fare difference. We quote the full amount and wait for your approval before we submit a request.

Do you store my full card number?

No. Payment is processed over an encrypted connection. We keep only a token and, for reference, the last four digits and card brand. We do not store the full card number.

Which cards do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, subject to the processor and the issuing bank. The charge descriptor will show Book Aero Fare or People Information, LLC.

Is the $25 fee refundable if I cancel?

Once an e-ticket is issued, the $25 online agency fee is non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. If we never issue a ticket, you are not charged that fee. Airline refunds, if any, are issued by the airline — not by us.

Changes

How do I change a flight?

Call us. We review whether a date, time, name, or routing change is allowed on your fare, quote the airline charge plus our $25–$50 assistance fee, and submit the request only after you approve. You can also search a new ticket online if that is cheaper.

Can I change a non-refundable ticket?

It depends on the airline and fare. Many tickets allow a date change for a fee or fare difference. Some Basic Economy fares cannot be changed. We review your ticket rules before advising. We do not override airline rules.

How quickly is a change completed?

After you approve the quote, we submit the change to the airline. Timing depends on the carrier. You receive an updated e-ticket by email after the airline processes it.

What if the new flight costs more or less?

If it costs more, you pay the fare difference plus our assistance fee. If it costs less, any credit follows the airline’s rules. We explain both before we proceed.

Can you correct a misspelled name?

Often we can submit a name-correction request. Airlines treat this as a change. Fees and whether a letter-swap is allowed depend on the carrier and fare. Call us with the exact spelling on the ticket and the correct spelling.

Cancellations and refunds

How do I cancel a booking?

Call us with your Book Aero Fare reference or airline PNR. We explain whether a refund, void, or travel credit may apply, quote our $25–$50 assistance fee plus any airline cancel charge, and submit the request only after you approve.

Will I get a cash refund or a credit?

It depends on the fare and timing. Refundable tickets may receive a cash refund from the airline. Non-refundable tickets often receive a travel credit. The airline — not Book Aero Fare — issues refunds and credits.

What is the 24-hour cancellation rule?

Most U.S. airlines allow a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of booking and the flight is at least seven days away. If you booked recently, call us so we can submit a void request before that window closes. This is an airline rule, not a Book Aero Fare promise on every ticket.

What if the airline cancelled my flight?

If the airline cancelled the flight, you are generally entitled to a full cash refund or a rebook, under the airline’s disruption rules. Call us and we will help you request the option you choose. The airline completes the refund or reissue.

Do you issue airline refunds yourselves?

No. We submit void, refund, or credit requests. The airline and the card network complete the money movement. Timelines vary by carrier and bank.

Upgrades and cabins

Can I book Business, First, or Premium Economy?

Yes, when that cabin is sold on the flight. Search the cabin online, or call for a paid-upgrade quote on an existing ticket. Cabin photos on our site are generic examples — not a specific carrier and not a promise that every aircraft has that product.

How much does a paid upgrade cost?

The airline sets the upgrade price from remaining inventory. We add a $25–$50 assistance fee on phone upgrades. We quote both before any charge. Online new tickets in a higher cabin still include the $25 online agency fee.

Can I use miles to upgrade through Book Aero Fare?

No. We quote cash upgrade prices only. Redeem miles in your own airline account.

Is lounge access included?

Not on every ticket. Lounge access depends on the fare, cabin, and airline. We do not promise lounge entry unless it is written on the ticket rules we quote.

International travel

Do you handle passports and visas?

No. We search and ticket flights. Passport validity, visas, and entry rules are the traveler’s responsibility. Check official government sources for every country on your itinerary before you book.

Are international search prices guaranteed?

No. They are published fares at search time and often include carrier-imposed surcharges in the tax line. An agent tickets after you submit. If the fare is gone, we contact you before charging a different amount.

Do you give immigration or COVID advice?

No. We are a travel agency, not a government office. Entry rules change. Use official government websites.

Fares, ads, and website addresses

Do you guarantee the lowest price?

No. We show live published fares. We do not promise the lowest price, unpublished inventory, or coupon codes. Compare the full quoted total — including our $25 fee — before you book.

What is the price-match policy?

If you find the same publicly bookable itinerary at a lower total within 24 hours, we may refund the difference after an agent verifies the claim. It is a review, not a guarantee. See the Price Match Policy page for the rules.

Why do some page addresses include an airline code or name?

Those addresses are saved advertising or site paths so we can open a Book Aero Fare service page. They are not that airline’s website, not an official reservations line, and not a partnership. The page is always our independent agency.

Why is a $25 fee on a “deals” page?

The web address is only a saved link. Every new online booking includes the same $25 agency fee, shown in the breakdown and charged when ticketed. That fee is how this independent agency is paid.

Baggage

Is baggage included in the fare?

It depends on the airline and fare. Many lowest-fare tickets do not include a checked bag. We display what the fare data says at search. Confirm baggage rules on your e-ticket. See our Baggage Policy page for typical ranges — those are not a quote for every flight.

Can you add a bag after ticketing?

Often the airline can add a bag for a fee. Call us and we can submit the request. The airline sets the bag price.

After you book

How do I look up my trip online?

Open My Trips and enter the email used at checkout plus your Book Aero Fare reference. That page is not a login. Anyone with both values can view that file. Keep your confirmation email private.

What if I only have the airline PNR?

Call us. We can search the file by PNR after we verify the booking. The website lookup form uses our agency reference.

Who do I check in with?

Check in with the operating airline using the e-ticket and PNR we email when the ticket is issued. We do not operate airport check-in.

What if my flight is delayed?

The operating airline controls the aircraft. Call us if you want help requesting a change. Same-day disruption options and meal or hotel vouchers are the airline’s decision.

Where we can and cannot sell travel

Do you sell travel in every U.S. state?

No. We do not offer, sell, or solicit travel services to residents of California, Florida, Washington, Hawaii, or Iowa because we do not hold Seller of Travel registration there. Checkout declines billing addresses in those states.

Can I still call if I live in a restricted state?

We cannot sell or ticket travel for residents of those states. Do not submit a booking with a billing address there. See State Licensing for the current list.

Privacy and data

What personal information do you collect?

What we need to search, ticket, and support the booking: names, dates of birth, contact details, passport details when the itinerary requires them, and a payment token. See the Privacy Policy, CCPA Notice, and GDPR Policy.

Do you sell my personal information?

See our CCPA Notice for sale and sharing, including how to send a Do Not Sell or Share request. Cookie and analytics choices are described in the Cookie Policy.

Still need help?

Call a live agent. Have your Book Aero Fare reference if you already booked. We quote phone assistance fees before we submit a change, cancel, or upgrade request.
